What Is Animal Communication?

Animal communication is the activity of listening to and speaking with animals; hearing their feelings, experiences, emotions, memories, fears, perspectives, and their hopes and dreams. A professional animal communicator has honed the natural skill of inward listening and two-way conversation with non-human beings of all species.

As children, we all communicated with animals. We naturally perceived their voices from within. We spoke to them as well, sharing the secrets of our hearts. As time passed, the rules and norms of society quieted that effortless, childlike ability. For many of us, myself included, this God-given birthright faded into the background. We could still hear the whispers of the animals, but we doubted the validity of it.

There are many humans, on the other hand, who didn’t experience this loss of connection to the animal world. They retained their natural ability to communicate with animals. These are the humans who are considered to have a “gift” for animal communication. Yet, it is not reserved a “gift” only for the few. We all have this gift and this ability, should we choose to reawaken it, and it is absolutely real.

Animals have deep and complex feelings. They experience a full range of emotions and memories. Many animals entertain musings of a spiritual nature. All of them know love in its most endearing and true forms.

As a professional Animal Communicator, I have rekindled and reawakened my own inborn ability to communicate with animals. I find deep joy in connecting with domestic animals, animals in the wild, and animals who have passed to the spirit world.

Speaking of the many thousands of animals she has had the privilege of speaking with, Animal Communicator Dawn Hayman reflects:  “They remain to be supreme teachers in unconditional love, forgiveness, and living without judgment. And animals can offer us a deeper look at who we are. They see the best in us and they have the innate ability to open and enrich the human heart.”
